master cylinder was a brembo one, was up at £140 on ebay but the guy was a gixerjunkie so did it for £110 + postage... Not radial asfaik
When I first got the bike, the brakes were shocking considering the bike. Much more feel now with brembo mc, hel line and 4 pots. It'll be spot on when it's got some HH pads in I reckon ![]()

Cool ![]() Non-Radial; ![]() Radial; Both are brembo units... Any idea which? If it was brand spanking then id say you did ok at £110 if it was either, if its radial thats not bad at all ![]() Last edited by ThEGr33k; 28-05-10 at 04:42 PM. |

Swapped my warped discs for some other Brembo ones from Ebay. Cost 60 quid. Different design, but the same size and weight.
Also won a brand new L/H caliper for 30 quid a while ago and been waiting for a matching R/H one. Might put it on now and get the original one serviced. A local bike shop has quoted 35 quid plus seals if required and as they have an account with Brembo they can get them. Must say, it is nice to be able to brake without arm trembling vibration. |

Ahh I see I thought radial was merely the direction the piston moved in... i.e to and away from the handle bars as opposed to the normal; parallel with.

Yeah that is difference...
Think of handlebar, measure the "radius" of it... cylinder points that way, radial. Think of handlebar, direction of center axis of bar .... cylinder points that way, axial.
