Me and maria turned up to boxhill once, and we were both quite terrified we'd get involed in an accident, all these people turning up and really hammering it round the carpark to look cool and sound loud and all this, but they just made it a really bad place to be |

"GP racers are the best in the world, they race for 45 minutes. Therefore nobody else can ride fast for more than 45 minutes" My own preferences are against people with holier-than-thou attitudes and "anybody going slower than me is an idiot, anybody going faster than me is a lunatic". Undoubtedly these guys picked the wrong time and place, but since when should that get in the way of a good arguement?

Seen the video up until the point of him getting knocked off, only saw one stupidish thing done whilst going along and thats when the guy overtakes his mate on the inside, but that really isn't that bad. Okay so doing 170mph isn't the best idea yeah.
His overtake was not very well planned out at all. Typical straightliner out for a ride really. Got it wrong. Can't chalk this one off as experience unfortunately. |

hate that attitude that theres no such things as accidents. Plod's love to hang on to this one. Basically you could go as far to say that with anything that happens you can always blame someone but then we might as well never leave the house. It was prob a bit stupid to do that speed but so what. We all take risks everyday. Its life

An accident's anything that wasn't avoidable, which is why this wasn't an accident.

If the car had've seen the bloke on the bike, they woulda avoided pulling out...aka SMIDSY, aka Accident. Yet that then raises the question, when did the car look out for the bike, cos he dropped the hammer and was halfway through acceleration and was certainly shifting and making his manouver from fairly far off, the car coulda maybe thought he will still be where I just saw him, however he wasn't.

I'm saying it's only an accident if it was completely unavoidable. SMIDSY is not an accident because it's avoidable if car drivers pay more attention before making a manoeuvre or if bike riders make themselves more visible.

An 'accidental' slip of attention, surely not? |
