If you want a read of something then there is a good track walkthrough in Visordown magazine... have a read of it in your local supermarket... not worth buying lol

to update there were a fair few crashes there today, atleast half a dozen including a couple of our very own. On one of the sighting laps I almost binned it, back end went all over.

Re: crashes exiting edwinas??
hehe I know, was only kidding. I only counted berlin and wester as the 'two from the org'. Glad you had your track fairings on! I was pooing it on that straight since your off, cause it was after then I noticed the barrier dead ahead of the straight. I was doing 80mph+ up there and braking a fair bit after the dude in the box (and a lot of engine braking) I was quite surprised I didn;t have any 'moments' on entry.

Re: crashes exiting edwinas??
Well, having now crashed at Edwina's I think I know what it is. I'm talking about exiting Edwinas here. Going in, I had no problems other than the usual chatter from the rear.
The road there is pockmarked with hundreds of holes from bikes going down. Which leads to a rough surface and holes just the right size to swallow a contact patch So the more peopel that fall off the worse the surface gets and so the circle continues. Now, having the track cleaned with detergent after Western's off made a huge difference so I'd presume the track there has seen a lot of Oil from all of these crashes and it was percolating to the surface with the rain in the last week/month/season. So, the oil makes people crash which adds oil. Another circle!. I couldn't belive how Sh*te the track surface was! There are back roads in yorkshire that are 10 times better! There were gouges, holes, poor jointing, polyfilla and really poor quality tarmac. The tracks is most definitely ready for a resurface! C |

Re: crashes exiting edwinas??
The surface is rediculous. Gerrards has a patch of slipping concrete halfway round and a joint running the whole way round then two holes right on the line of the exit.
The section from the hairpin down to devils elbow is laughable, you could write for 20 the whole day on all the issues with that part of the circuit, I cant believe big races use the place. Amusingly on the bridge therei s the advertising for a specialist tarmac company... I hope they are not responsible for the track surface. |

G also makes a good point that mallory is so bad in places that i also find it very strange how they can hold BSB races there!
