Re: The 2009 Bike buying thread
Someone say something bad about carbed R6s
Something like.... overpriced/ gear boxes spontaneously combust/ no midrange.... that'd do. Wouldn't mind hearing bad things about K1/2 Gsxrs either. (Shell suit/ owned by morons etc) Ruling out triples on the Triumph factor.... Ruling out V4s on been there done that and if I haven't then it's expensive grounds. |

Re: The 2009 Bike buying thread
Why ruling out Triumphs? Street triple looks fun.
I'd say try before you buy. Some people used to riding twins or singles are used to that sort of engine ad find 4's quite different to what they're used to. The same can be said vice versa. Personally I'd keep the SV and buy a second bike because I'm afraid that if I'd sell I'd regret. |

Re: The 2009 Bike buying thread
The only thing I found wrong with my 2000 R6 was the rear tyres only lasted a couple of months about 3000 miles and I was always riding far too fast. I did love every mile of the 24,000 I covered in the 2 years I had it before someone decided to pull out of their drive in front of me, if it wasn't for that I'd still have it if it would still be running.
