I'd like a Vespa PX125, or possible a DT125SM with a big narrow top box. I'd say a Duke 2, but I rode one in traffic once and though it's more nimble than an SV it's wider, which was very annoying, it was better than the SV at getting into gaps but worse at getting out of them.

675 street triple...nice little engine and a good upright riding position. I've not seen one with a topbox yet but it could be practical if you added one.(not that I would)

Evidently the "style" I am considering is so far out of the loop for me, that many a good folk has been thrown well off the scent.

fizz: I hope you're not being racist against our subcontinental brothers - them northerners can take a long walk off no pier for me.
Rocket 3 would be a good option, I reckon, especially if the touring one is for real. |

In my defence, I do have sound reasoning for this departure.

The Problem:
Island roads, poorly surfaced, not that fast, country lanes more than anything. Why bother having 100bhp+ when you only ever get the chance to use 50? The Solution: ![]() DRZ400SM, or any supermoto really. mmm, KTM SuperDuke / 950SM
