Fair enough, will see what happens, need a dyno run or 2 anyway to make sure my own bodgy restrictor kit works

I raised my tank 20mm and removed the foam on the underside. I've drilled the carb slides and jetted up a bit, I've enlarged the inlet of my K&N filter, due to it being kinda small to start with. Bike makes nice noise with bitsa exhaust.

carb slide driling is on the list too, like I say will see how it goes when I get it on a dyno.

the vacuum transfer port on the bottom of the carb slider ... you can enlarge it a bit so the slides raise quicker ... picks up a bit quicker

You enlarge the vent holes in the bottom of the slides, this increases the slide speed.
Good points:- Allegedly increases throttle response Bad Points:- Causes the slides to 'Flutter' actually slowing them down, but like all good tuning mods its free and on the internet so must be good ![]() As for tank spacers there's not a noticeable difference, certainly not enough to justify a jet change |
