Fair enough, will see what happens, need a dyno run or 2 anyway to make sure my own bodgy restrictor kit works

on a complete tangent, has your post count gone around the clock?

I raised my tank 20mm and removed the foam on the underside. I've drilled the carb slides and jetted up a bit, I've enlarged the inlet of my K&N filter, due to it being kinda small to start with. Bike makes nice noise with bitsa exhaust.

I've been clocked by an unscrupulous dealer for easy resale

carb slide driling is on the list too, like I say will see how it goes when I get it on a dyno.

the vacuum transfer port on the bottom of the carb slider ... you can enlarge it a bit so the slides raise quicker ... picks up a bit quicker

You enlarge the vent holes in the bottom of the slides, this increases the slide speed.
Good points:-
Allegedly increases throttle response
Bad Points:-
Causes the slides to 'Flutter' actually slowing them down, but like all good tuning mods its free and on the internet so must be good

As for tank spacers there's not a noticeable difference, certainly not enough to justify a jet change
