Bike won't start, any ideas?

My SV (although a different bike) when the battery runs out, all I get from the bike is the same clicking sound. Of course, my bike often refuses to start regardless of battery power, annoyingly, I think it's probably a carb icing thing as I've had no problem before. Also, it randomly cuts out when I'm as far away from home and my destination as possible, usually just to **** me off.

Eiish, do you ride yours every day? Or regularly at least?>

I think on mine (its mine now as the missus failed her test last week) its just cos its been sat there for a while and not been started hence the immobilizer has drained the battery.

I'd better bloody well pass my test this Friday now hadn't I ?!

It sounds completely like a flat battery to me, if buzzing = rapid clicking.

I think it was just a bit flat (worn down by the immobilizer and not being used for 2 weeks) - all the lights were fine, so thats why i think it only needed a few hours on trickle. IF i pass my test on friday i shall be taking it for a good long spin!
