About 4 years ago my girlfriends miniture lakeland terrior was stolen from the garden by gypsys and it was devastating. She had the dog since she could remember and it was an amazing dog, they probably stole her thinking she was a puppy as she was so small a full of life, when in reality she was actually about 15ish.
When my parents German Shepard dies that will be very bad aswell, he is huge and seriously like another member of the family. I know exactly how you must feel though. |

Thanks everyone.
Kodo was one very special mutt - there's so much I could say but can't yet, though it does help to have a warm fuzzy lap once more. |

So sorry to hear about your loss K, he sure looks a character with absolutely beautiful eyes. Very moving tribute, I welled up I must admit. Not looking forward to my Alsatian going, but the least we can do is make sure they live their lives to the maximum while they with us
![]() And that Spider looks a cheeky chappie indeed, no doubt he will keep you occupied and although he won't ever replace Kodo I'm sure he's a thoroughly welcome addition nevertheless. |

Unfortunately I do know how you feel although my four legged friend was not with me for as long as yours there is a special bond between a dog and their master. One which doesn't need words, they know your quirks as you know theirs. A dog can never be replaced and although the new addition will not be a replacement Im sure you will one day build a relationship of the same magnitude as the one you now miss. I hope you will share with us the daft and downright outrageous tales of you and your new friend and the building of this special relationship.

A fitting tribute to such a special dog. I know the feeling, the emptiness.

So sorry to hear of your companion departure, I know you loved him, as you embossed his name in all your leather work.
Hopefully your the new pup keep you on your toes and remind you of all the great time you and kodo had. RIP little fella.
