I have an Autocom system with the speakers fitted behind the lining of my Shark RSR helmet as opposed to against your ears and have had no problems at all other than helmet noise does overcome speakers sometimes as I wear earplugs as well.I rang Autocom recently and they said that they do sell earpiece type speakers but not cheap as I now have an AGV Ti Tech that its impossible to fit speakers in.

Mine was uncomfortable (on long runs) when first fitted but a slight adjustment and I don't even notice the headset now

I have been looking at the Cardo Scala Rider Q2 set, which is bluetooth linked to MP3 player. mobile phone etc. It also has an FM radio built in, and can do 3 rider links for comms. Really hard to find in the UK though - have seen them on ebay for £100 from Canada though.

Asked at my local bike shop and they went to look for it at the retailers convention about 4 weeks ago - They couldn't find it, but did say that a rival product will be launched in March by a company called Midlands (IIRC) which they were quite excited about and reckoned it should be around £99 mark.

Not sure if you want to stay with Autocom or have a change, as the whole kits seem to be cheaper than the Autocom mikes
