I don't want to drag this thread off topic, but in a nutshell, he's saying thats it better a bike is used, as opposed to being left for long periods of time. These bikes often develop all sorts of little nigles.

i hate when dealers do that.. however i dont give a crap what mines worth because i decided when i bought it that im never going to sell it, my first bike will be maintained and fixed ect untill the day i have to replace the engine.. and starts all over again

No one in their right mind would pay that, I would rather pay the extra £999 and get a brand new one.

I bought an K3 on an 04 plate in Feb 06 and paid £2800. It included a double bouble screen, alpha-dot, Suzuki rear hugger and a Datatool System 3 alarm and it only had 5000 miles on the clock.

I buy MCN every week and laugh at the classifieds when I see someone still trying to get close to £3000 or more for a K3 or a high mileage K4.

There has been a 55 plate in MCN private ad for the past couple of weeks for £3495! Thats never going to sell. Its just life that a lot of people over value there house, car, bike etc.

I was offered £2,400 for my K4 on a 05 plate that is Kwak clean.
