what about one of those oven cleaning 'orange' products? Mr Muscle Orange Action, or something similar.
that might be an idea for removing the oil from the tyre. if in doubt about it damaging the rubber, you could get an old tyre from a local tyre fitter & see if any problem occurs when you apply it. |

Had a lubetube on my Gixer thou, until one of the end caps detached itself and spewed the contents all over the rear end of the bike. Never ever again will I fit one for myself or anyone else. I can handle the normal RMV or a touring kit, but the lubetubes are wa*k
