Love the mini crash bungs on the tank. Nice idea.

The only problem with the RC8 is the front view. From every other angle its stunning but head on its a bit less stunning. IMO!!

Jester..I can see what you mean. I think time spent working with a wind tunnel has made them go for a more upright front to the fairing. Last year in moto Gp the bikes had more raised fronts also. naturally they did not have to incorporate headlights though! (Although they might need to for the upcoming season opener in Qatar wich is a night time race!)

The tail section is all LED's,indies and the rear lights themselves are a large double bank not too dissimilar than those of a pointy SV. It looks like the rider seat tilts forward when unlocked and as there is no cramming of space due to underseat exhaust,it does look as though more than a crdeit card can go along for a ride with you.

Why so expenisive... Man I love V twins but they are all sooo expensive! There seems to be no Gixxer style with all the gear and mass prduced niceness. Sigh.

See, these are my thoughts. I was quite excited when the original concept stuff came out (views from the side) but since I saw the front, it has been a bit of a cold shower moment. I think that it would work as a race bike, but the stacked headlight cluster just doesn't do it for me.

In the flesh it's lurrvvvvely, but no you are all right it's a rubbish bike, crap performance, no power, uncomfy, no shaft drive, pillions hate it, super ugly, I hear depreciation is going to be catastrophic.

Then I'll buy
