I really like riding in the wet and would go as far as to say I'm quite quick compared to some. But I had the back end try to overtake the front the a couple of days ago pulling out of a junction. Can happen to anyone. Gutted for you Mari.

Awww what a bummer .... glad you're OK and thank god for insurance.

Think of it this way, by the time insurance has paid ut the rain will have gone and Summer may have arrived.

Thanks guys, will be calling insurance today.

I do think some diesel may have been involved as the roundabout is short route off M25 the lorries take back to depo near us. But either way I should have remembered to take care.

But in light of recent events, including another fatal accident that has been posted recently on mcn Ninjas too, Dan and I are going to be reviewing our road riding options. <sniff>

Atleast I was fortunate to be able to make another choice/learn from my mistake.
Take care everyone

It all depends what riding means to you. It is dangerous, and even with the utmost care we cannot absolutely be sure that the next ride won't be our last, all I can do is ride defensively and be aware of everything. Your riding was fine, what little I got to see, and this off was just one of those things.
