In line with this, we've recently had 3 employees have some very heated conversations. Basically, they were using Yahoo Messenger in the office (which we're allowed to do for work puproses - but they were having personal conversations). Screenshots were also taken using VNC software by one of the 3, and sent around the entire office. Silly thing to do if you ask me.

All 3 of them have 'handed their notice in' rather than have things dragged through the courts due to sensitive information being displayed in the screen grabs (corporate information, not just the personal chat).

ooopssss...

ok maybe trying to bust open the system is not worth it...after all i do work for HMG...

My previous post taken into account, I'm posting from work now.

I was also working last Monday (bank holiday and so on 2.5x the pay), and I spend approx 6 hours playing Pool on Yahoo...

... against my boss amongst other people...

its not after 1 week working for some of the brain dead imbersiles the royal navy manage to employ these days!

I once had a job where I was getting paid considerable money (more than I do now) to test PC games all day long.

Not quite as good as watching porn, but I reckon that watching porn day in day out, it would get boring. The novelty would quickly wear off for me.
