Nice bike, as long as you have a pipe on it thats stupidly loud, I hate the rattle they make..
Can't decide if I like the looks of the 748 or not.. headlights, for some reason, are really really important for me in liking a bit, and I can't decide if I like those or not. Nice bike, anyhow.
Still looking?

My ST2 was "Cheap" and im slowly fallign on love, even if i have spent 4 hours servicing it.. 1 hours to service it (Belts, oil, air sparks) and 3 hours to rebuild the fairing... ..

will be quicker next time as i know what im doing...

I just LOVE the ducati Red...

Maybe, as said before if you use a Duke a lot then they tend not to let you down in my experience! 748's are nice bikes, many including myself prefer them over the 916/996/998's as they are revier and provide a more thrilling ride. I think Lissa, and probably yourself, would prefer the SV for comfort though!

They are considered the thinking man's Ducati if there can be such a thing.

We've found a 1999 748 fairly local to us with 7,500 miles on the clock. It has Termi's fitted, is about in our budget, and most importantly, isn't red

We're hoping to nip over and have a look at it later

As for the comfort part, I'm hoping it won't be too much of a problem. I don't generally suffer from being cramped on a bike, being rather on the short side

FYI the 748 was voted by owners as the most expensive bike to run in their power survey for 2007

Cheers Mark.
