Yeah, get one. The triboseats are only about £12 and stop all sliding. You only get chest bangs then!

I was thinking of getting one of those non-slip seat covers - Triboseat

Anyone got one?

Nah it's cause SV's are so jerky on the acceleration and braking. I used to go on Kwaks as a pillion and I had to read the road before him to know what to hold on to (no smut please).

I went on his GSXR which is still a stepped seat (even more so) and nothing like, smooth and I hardly felt like I was moving. Yet on the SV I was all over the seat, but my bis ar$e helps way me down so tell ya misses to eat more

The SV will cope with pillions easily, like all bikes the added weight becomes a performance issue but the SV doesn't struggle!

Pillions on SV's are reasonably well catered for. My other half (Maria) gets uncomfy after about 120 miles, which is about time for a fuel stop anyway.

I find the SV handles well two-up (perhaps better than when Im just on my own!) and maria dosn;t slide about on the pillion seat.

Have you tried being a bit smoother on the brakes and acceleration?

The pillion seat can be quite slippy got a triboseat for mine and it's a massive improvement

+ 1

You have to ride smooth with pillions, I too recommend the Triboseat.

+1 with the standard shock , I thought mine behaved better as well , I now have a GSXR shock and it behaved very well 2up or Solo . I`ve just done the NW4 Rideout with a pillion and she had no trouble at all , I accelerated smoothly without lashing her to death , and it was nice on the brakes when a pillion squashes against you a bit

Is that because of the bike, or because of the pillion?
