hey northwind....not tackled this as yet (time constraints and need the bike each day for work)....
but i could see where mr mechanic had a pop at getting the heated grip off and its sort of teared where the grip sits on the existing throttle tube...so im gonna have a go next weekend.... will try what lozzo said with the jnr hacksaw blade then prize it off with screwdriver / brake cleaner.....they are well and truly stuck on there!!!! "air duster" would this work if its been glued on? avalable at tesco???!!! |

If it's glued on you need to break that first. I was thinking he'd got the grip off but couldn't get it onto the new tube, but obviously not.
