oil concerns part 2.

Probably unrelated to your situation, but I often notice following an oil change that it can be harder to get into gear (esp. neutral) for the first 50 miles or so, almost as if the oil needs to be 'run in'. No idea why this occurs, but I notice it after about 50% of oil changes. I change the filter every other oil change and I've not noticed any correlation between the filter being changed (or not) and the problem occuring. As an aside, I am putting the correct amount of Halfords 10W/40 semi-syn in each time; not over/under filling it.
