Jambo has pretty much said it all, I'll try and go into a little bit more detail later on tonight.

Those are the EXACT same ones I got from the EXACT same ebay seller.

Oh, and there was no fitted way to fix the seat release lock to the rear panel.

Take a look at these.

The decal on the side of the top fairing has me in fits, that's taking the Chinese accent a bit too far

Personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole with a very small piece of poo stuck to the end.

Lozzo 'Dilact Air Induction' Genius!!!

Actually if I had a CBR600 track bike, I would buy those fairings to have that on them

It's worse than that, it reads "Dilact Air Lnduction", the problem is that they are lacquered over and can't easily be removed

I have a CBR trackbike of the same model, they aren't going anywhere near it.

I'm getting the general impression I should stay away from these fairings. Ebay and a spray can - ratted matt black sports bike it is!

Here's a hint. Do Not Buy Anything with Made In China written on it. You won't go wrong then

Sweet!

Why not just stick a cargo net over your current fairings?

That is perhaps a little harsh, the ones you link to do largely fit, but they're not perfect and require extra work on drilling, trimming and a wee bit of persuasion. The paint's also a little thin. They do not fit the same as OE, but that said the bike we were fitting them to had been crashed, it's possible the mounting points and stays were bent (though we did our best to make sure everything was straight). They do look good when fitted properly. I would probably not buy a set myself, but lets be honest, it's 2 side panels, a tail piece, and a nose cone for the cost of any one of the front panels from Kawasaki.

If it were me I'd try to stick to OE panels and get them sprayed.

Having seen Keith's Ducati panels I'd buy them if I had a ZX6R that needed a full set of bodywork, but only if the wording on them made some sense and didn't look ridiculous. The seat lock mounting is advertised as not being in place in the description, so you can't really complain about that, but knowing how they fit it'd be easy to get it in there with a couple of well placed holes, bolts and some carefully made spacers.

It's a damn shame that none of these manufacturers do anything for the ZX-7R, as both me and my housemate are looking for full sets of bodywork for our two (yes, we're sad - we each have a ZX-7R)
