H'mm on my Curvy, the sump drain has a bolt head, not an Allen bolt.
A new replacement was the same. Don't know what you've taken out there. ![]()

All done now guys, many thanks for the replies.
No magnetic ends on the plug, the first one i removed is below the clutch cover and is an allen head, the oil drained from there, i then removed the 14mm hex head on the other side and some oil came out, but the bulk from the allen head bolt, no sign of any swarf on any plugs, replaced the crush washer and did the filter, filled with oil, started her up to fill the filter and re topped to just below full mark whilst on a level. Easy to do, also replaced brake fluids and gave brakes a good going over, tidy wee bike actually, i hope she appreciates the work i have done on it for her. Anyway, off to bed now and thanks again folks for your help ![]() I am an Aprilia man as you probably guessed by my username, still a twin though ![]() |
