Take the hotjobs off, don't need em. Have a word with YC about reg/rec, also perhaps bypass the clutch switch. Many moons ago, I had a wee problem like this when I first got Suzy. All of the above was done......hey presto, no problem!

PS Holdup, he has a brand new battery. Another thing to consider Andy, is that your not running it enough, how many miles are you actually riding it at the moment, as this also can have a great impact on you starting her, not that I've ever ever had that problem...oh not I

Nowthen.

Im commuting 4 miles each way. So would that be an issue? And yea the batterys new.

The zapper pack. Is there a way to connect these to the bike without taking the seat off? My worry is also that ill get caught out on a rideout?

Whats this about the regrec? I took a lok last time and it appeared to be charging ok. (other thread) is there something else to look at? And whats the switch?

Presumably you have tried starting it with the choke on?
How's the idle speed?

Carnt turn it over to start with the choke doesnt give enough time to make you think its required

do you think it could be the heated grips causing it? even though there not on?
Disconnect them from your loom/battery and find out. They might be bust and still drawing power

Also letting a bike idle for a log time actually drains the battery as it won't be getting enough revs to charge.
You should come for a run up on the moors with me and give it a good run out now and again.

Batterys dead, either because it doesn't charge enough in 4 miles, or because the reg recs f##ked.
