Shark do one. but its over the top instead of under. You can buy them seperate so you can upgrade without changing helmets

The new caberg lids are quite well made and alot quiter than the old ones. You can get a 5 star lid for around a £100. Or you could get a Schubeth with 2 stars for about £400 if a brand name is more important to ya then yer head.

Assuming you blindly follow the belief that the flawed government sponsored SHARP tests are the be-all and end-all of helmet safety testing.

Alternatively, you could research the individual tests such as the old BSI, ECE 2205, SNELL, etc - and make your decision based on the outcomes.

As yet another alternative, how about we count up the number of MotoGP, WSB, BSB, WSS, BSS... riders using Caberg lids. I bet there's a hell of a lot more in Arai, Shoei, and AGV.

Caberg lids might be 'better made than they were' but they're still, by comparison to an Arai, complete crap, IMHO. I've had several, and they've become loose and floppy in only a few outings. A number of my friends have experienced the same. My Arai, by comparison, still feels as fresh and tight as it did when it was new two years ago, and is still a pleasure to put on.

I have an HJC with the internal visor, it's really useful and works well, but only if you're like me and don't bother switching the main visor to suit conditions. The mechanism doesn't seem to whistle at all either, which was something I was a little concerned about when I purchased it.

it just flips up above instead of inside. But then I bought for functionality not to look good

How does that feel when you're 'making progress'? I looked at them when I got my last lid but I thought it would be a bit unstable at speed.

absolutely fine. It makes an odd whistle if its up, but thats about it(not being used). I've been up and down the mway at 70 honest occifer, and its not budged. Only niggle is when you pull down the clear one, sometimes that comes with it..when you don't want it to!
