IMO dealer would be the last place for peace of mind but meh. Probably worth getting someone to check the forks are straight though.

As long as it's a proper place, you can pay and you are expected a good job, if not a few calls to Suzuki GB should sort it, and it not then trading standards will be fine.

The dealers I've used seem to be good and the ones I use charge decent labour (and sometimes even give me a discount! ) but I try and do oil/filter changes myself..

Shouldn't have to ring suzuki though should you, Iv'e found you have to do it far to often with dealers. Discount at a dealers might be somewhere near regular shop prices btw . Anyway guess it's personal preference - not the place to be discussing it.

I meant if the dealer you used for the repair started giving you hastle, IE not doing things properly, call Suzuki GB blah blah, sorry for the misunderstanding. But yes we're going off topic sorry

Hi Dean!
Welcome to .org
Your bike is not an 03 ( or K3 ) but the vastly superior curvy - probably K2 registered late.
Yes, the damage looks bad, but sure with a bit of time & effort it can be repaired quite cheaply. Others seem to have covered most things so it appears your main need is someone experienced to ' hold your hand ' with assessing the damage & pointing you the right way for a good fix.
Sorry no real advice but best of luck with it anyway!

For an example see my sig. took a few months but sourced forks, progressive springs, front wheel, all new plastics, tank and some other bits for about £250. Then just plonked it together. Need any help just start a thread.

For the brake lever i suggest you get one of the foldy ones off eBay..

WELL worth the little bit extra and they won't snap if you come off in future!
