First try loosening and re-torqueing all the bolts first. It doesn't take much to warp that plastic cover, and the bolts shouldn't be very tight: 10 Nm is all they should be!

I had this on my first SV ended up with a knackered crank shaft due to lack of oil

I bought a new cover for about £45 and the O ring wsa about £8.

If you want to splash some cash you can get billet covers for about £250

Also had a look see and it seems the last person to work on it put sealant
in but then managed to ruin the thread for the lowest bolt so it wont tighten fully
Now how the hell do i retap
