just a thought, I can't afford to move my knee at all, as I'd have to stop and wait for the stars to stop spinning, now apart from an adaptor plate, the fitting of some stomp grip to the tank helped fix the leg in place 90% of the time, might be worth a go ?
Cheers Mark.

Here's a point, yes. On my textiles there's an annoying seam behind my knee and on my leathers I can usually feel a fold behind my knee. Have you had this before?

Dave, what job do you do and how old are you if you dont mind me asking?
Im a builder and i get loads of problems with my knees as always on them, cod liver does help a bit. I used to play footy for 9 years as well and that had fubar'ed them as well. Do you find when its cold its worse or better? Could try either a sports knee support, you can get the ones where you microwave of put them in the fridge, or an elasticated tube type bandage on the offending joints, might help relieve some of the stress on the joint.
