AFAIK...if you got an Xtra Rap(which you won't as they are as rare as rocking horse poo, and I'd get there first) you get full Ohlins suspension as standard.
The standard VRap and nakid Raptor have something else. Yes you have USD as standard, and I think I'm right in saying there is a good mod, for R6 fork internals that do a nice job for it(I could be slightly wrong with the info there, but bike modding is teeth pulling boring to me and I fall asleep listening!).
Like I said, anything you wish to know, just drop us a PM and I'll get Matt to give you any info you require. Hes not on here so often as he doesn't have much internet access back at his folks. Matts seriously into having his bike modded and handling correctly....if a tad lazy at it

It is budget, just a higher budget

Edit: Look here, this reckons the SV1000 gets big-boy spring rates rather than the baby springs on the 650.

You get cartridge forks, which could be revalved to work as well as any other setup, and 4-pot front calipers.

USD forks =/= good forks.
I had a read of this, basically fit R1 fork cartridges and top caps to gain rebound adjustability.

I've helped out with some of the bits and bobs on carnivores V-rap thou, and have fair experience of the brembo brake setups (had the cagiva 125 which is same brakes).

The caliper bodies are excellent, they are pretty deep anodising by the look of it, so the rotting around the dust seals like on suzukis doesn't happen. The pistons are also PTFE coated by the look of it, which means the regular rebuilding is much less of a pain in the rse!
Rear master cylinders are flawed and sieze up, leading to the bleeding issues. Healthy, they aren't bad to bleed.

But the rap does have its flaws. Being a wop means some easy things are a pain in the backside, like seat lock exposed to all manner of crap, expensive bodywork.

If I was going to bother I'd get the real thing and go TL1000S.

I have relatively long legs and they wave uselessly in the air

do we really want to know about this?

whats a wop chris?

just looking at the mo as they seem to be quite cheep for what they are. i like the x rap (lots of carbon and im a tart ) and the nekkid one is cool as well. if only the sv1000 could have a black frame then i would have been sold i think.

Again just wondering.

ooooh,

actually give us a few others to look at. lets say you had 3k to spend on a bike. Now most importantly it has to look cool i want to pull up at home or at work and people go hey look at andy on that really cool bike so extra plus points for things shiny or carbon. next it has to be somthing that is going to survive the winter under a cover. while i may not ride it in the snow it will get used. And lastly extra points for something i could actually ride (although not that important a consideration )

Vrap then. Also sound like doom.

Xrap would be cool but not enough of them made. Just don't crash because you will cry at the cost of plastic.

Oh and lube the suspension, it doesn't get done as stock.
