I actually like my nitro lid, but thought for an extra score the sun visor idea would be great for the winter as the mornings normally have that low sun.

Viper is sat at ours at the mo....I asked him and he has the Caberg V2. He says "very good helmet...when progressing it can whistle".

I like mine. Got a V2. Have experienced some misting in extreme conditions, wind noise can be a bit loud (but have good ear protectors), comfortable, good double visor system. No problems with lining, leaking visor seals or lifting visor. Got mine for £90. Would definitely have another one, although might try the Trip version next time.

Hope this helped.

Have a V2R. Excellent for me with glasses. They fit and sit nicely with helmet on. The sun visor is excellent for this reason aswell.

As previously said it is very noisy. Even just at NSL speeds. I wear earplugs which helps a fair bit.

For the price I would say that its been pretty reasonable.

Just been to J&S in Greenwich - tried it on and wasn't overly keen on it.

While I was there though I tried lids on ranging from £30 - £400, but I can't really tell too much difference between them, apart from weight.

So why the extra expense.

I had one for 18 months or so, was a good lid. Noisier than my shoei, lining got a bit baggy in comparison.
Did its job perfectly when I headbutted the floor at 40ish. I would buy another.
