Why don't they just check like in F1 pylon racing? Fill cylinder with oil and measure volume.

chris that would be to much work for them...

Be careful lads and dont waste your precious pennies. Minitwins have strict limits on output (72 BHP) and at Bemsee for example you can expect to be put on the dyno at regular intervals throughout the season. It has been known for protests to be put in, so you could lose any credibility if caught cheating as well as disqualification from rounds current, past and future. Of course if you want to play around with the power weight ratio then off to thunderbikes for you.
The SV block should make 72 BHP comfortably with a race can and system (legal), ecu or power commander and mapping (legal) and race filter (legal). It doesnt need mechanical tampering. Or cheating.

Of course you could also try and be a better rider, or get your suspension set up bang on, or even buy some nice sticky tyres (all legal)

I race supertwins in Ireland, no BHP limit just 650cc. Wish it was limited to 72BHP as it would be a hell of alot cheaper!

Got the bike on the dyno today, wanted to get a figure before I do any work so I know what i'ved gained when I'm finished, at the minute its 73.1 BHP, the guy who done it built another engine in the supertwins which is putting out 89BHP! If I can get 80BHP when I'm finished I'll be happy
