Don't think so, he violated your right of way and shouldn't have pulled out in a way to cause you to slow down let alone make an emergency stop.

I had a similar kind of accident a few years ago.
A woman pulled out from the junction on my right and stopped across my side of the road and I hit the side of her at about 15mph. She said she pulled out becuase she couldn't see properly! Had no quibble from her insurance company about who was to blame

That's a face palm moment right there.
We just got back off holiday to find my Wifes car almost bent in half where someones rammed into the side of it whilst it was parked outside our friends house on a perfectly straight section of road 0_o, we are not happy
