I'd like to see an Australian section arranging a ride-out..

"Hey Mate, I just rode 1254 miles from Adelade and now you're telling me the rideout's cancelled???"

Welcome aboard anyway,

Keith

i don't know why, but i'm somehow more excited now to be heading to the UK in a few months. lol.

does anyone know any good and cheap places to hire bikes? last time i checked it was like 150 quid a day and that's too much for a poor ******* and a **** exchange rate.

currently not an sv650 owner, still riding a 250 and waiting until june when i get my big bike licence - where i will be looking for a SV650S to purchase!
good man good man
i'm from sydney, australia...have only been riding for about 1.5 years and so i have alot to learn. currently riding a 2001 honda vtr250, which by now is getting, dare i say 'slow' for me and i can't wait to upgrade to 'pointy' as you folk call it.
these are curse words and we would prefer you not to use them
i'm looking to buy 'pointy' in a 2003 model and above - making the switch to fuel injected bikes...it'd also be nice to get my hands on some side fairings somewhere so i don't look too naked. lol
enough with the cursing if you wish to refer to a 03> please use the term
that ugly thing thet made after the curvy

i had a few questions for you folk though and maybe you can give me a better answer than google.
mmmmmm where do you think half of these lot find them lol
just wondering how the bike rides around town in busy traffic? are you finding yourselves changing gears and riding the clutch too much?
low down torque is good and it pulls in most gears well, top end is the let down
also, i'm quite a shortass for a guy...standing at only about 5"4' / 163cm.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah lissa will love you
how do you find the seat height and the actual width/narrowness of the seat? i don't wish to lower the bike, and if possible i'd prefer to shave excess foam off the seat.
yes this is very easy to do but i recomend getting it done properly costs about 50ish quid and gel inserts are wonderful you got plenty of custom bike shops down under
any other useful info you could tell me about the bike will be great also!
ok pointies suck, top box's are just wrong (yes ash wrong) curvies rule ,blue ones are faster, big bike riders will look at you in awe in the twisties
anyway, hope to learn much from you all and hope to be a proud sv650 owner soon!
dont listen to the mods their mental the lot of them

cheers!

P.S. thought i'd leave you with some pics of my current bike to make it more interesting...lol.

PICS REMOVED FOR BEING A F ING H*ND* WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS CRIME IN ITSELF, HENCE WHY YOU PROBABLY GOT SENT TO OZ IN THE FIRST PLACE
WELCOME and enjoy you time here
