![]() If a minor service consists of oil, filter, plugs that should be fine to do. I've tried to find a pdf manual for the bmw recently, but couldn't, I think somebody on here has one (Ceri JC?) |

Go and get a test ride and try it, I would be quite confident you'll change your mind after riding one...

I've just bought an ER6 ..... too early to fully report .... but much more comfortable than the SVS, the engine isn't quite as energetic as the SV's .... but same as you, I'm hoping its a better alrounder than the 'fun for 20mins, a pain in the wrists after' SVS

Bandit 1250GT looks better than the 600-650 version and I would not completely rule it out. However, when I mentioned it to a couple of people I heard one opinion: It's a lovely bike... in a straight line ![]() Last edited by martianskippy; 16-02-10 at 03:29 PM. |

When does the FZ8 come out? I think if the price is right it could be a good alternative to a Z750 etc.

Like I said test ride, make your own mind up. I've ridden one. Ok comparing it my GSXR is not fair, whilst it wasnt as quick to steer or change direction as the GSXR is it certainly was no slouch, it just takes a bit of muscle to get it to initially begin to turn.

I'd probably want something with bit more oomph than the SV so that really rules out the ER6/Versys option
