Not really had anything coming out of corners that can be attributed to bad weather, though my rear feels planted as hell anyway. Few times ive had some drifting, it tends to wheelie before it loses traction I find.

Only had wheel spin a few times and thanfully when I been going in a straight line so not much of an issue.

As many have said, the sudden grip found after closing the throttle can be enough to throw you off the side of the bike. Best advice. Ride to the conditions and your comfort level, or you will end up regretting it.

BS, you just need to be more progressive in finding how much grip there is. It is when you suddenly whack the throttle open that it will spit you off.

same applies to rear brake as throttle. I got spat off my 125 by locking up the rear by braking too hard whilst beginning to tip in for a corner. Of course the rear went sideways, I released the brake too late and it highsided. Some advise not to release the brake at all in those conditions.

I know slamin the throttle closed introduces a highside I've done that plenty of times doing motorcross , what a pain in the bum fortuantly they are quite droppable with little damage. The slide and wobble afterwards
bleed most of the speed out of it me closing the throttle was mainly on the straight after reflecting on my new
mistake.

I want to try different tires I'm struggling to get any temp in these.

Clearly you still have a lot to learn and your natural reactions aren't actually that good...

Ok so shutting power is bad, do you keep same amount of throttle on and hope, ease of throttle a bit..??

I think you need to break it down to how big the slide is. shutting down the throttle full stop is a bad idea as the rear wheel just locks back up again, grabs the tarmac and will throw you. If you've only slid an inch or so you'll get a kick, but not a big one, just enough to wake you up. These I've found are best solved through better throttle control, you can get away with rolling off a little bit and trying again (This is based on my method in the wet on a race track trying to get the power on.) A proper slide will happen very quickly and more often than not you wont really have the time to react, but I've been told the best thing you can do is grab the clutch and let the rear wheel aclimatise at its own pace so you can get back on your way again.

Because clearly the problem is the tyres, not the rider?
