£3200 for a 2001 bike seems high whatever mileage.

Tall bikes aren't a problem once you're used to them
I have a 33" inside leg and after a few months I'm happy riding the big KTM with it's taller seat on, the seat height on that is now 37", flat and wide Means I have tons of legroom and the new seat is super-comfy

tlw my inside leg is 29" so i wear boots with bigger soles on them to make an extra 2"
![]() parkers buying guide does recommend just under £3K for a 51 plate tiger but taking the lack of miles its done i say there price is about right, if he likes it query mileage ask for some old mots, then knock the prices down to about £2,980 as the parkers guide claims its worth. |

nope but i know dealers use them when looking at getting the "competitive edge" personally i knock them down if they go from £3k to £2.5K then you going to buy the bike for £2k once your done!
Wolfie i told you not to share that pic of me. and i really did start with 2" across the sole of my bike boots now theres less than an inch. |

You just recommended he pay £2,980, now you are saying the bike is only worth £2,000?

The bike is worth somewhere between the minimum price the dealer is prepared to sell it for and the maximum price the prospective buyer will pay.
Juggling these two numbers is what makes life fun. |

no im saying if you can get them to lower the price by £500 there normally willing to go down further, if they want to get rid of it, merely using them figures as an example. and i also only stated that the parkers guide says £2,980, which he should be looking at as a max price tbh.
