Thanks guys im torn at the momment between the bmw and a Celica GT

Celica is a little more expensive but slightly better on fuel and tax, the BMW is worse on fuel and tax but has that extra comfort and class.

i have the 330cd M Sport and i love it but the running costs are pretty insane and the ride can be pretty hard compared to other cars in the league, but i cant fault the engine it will hold its own on the road. diesel so it aint too bad on mpg 35-45 depending on driving but Insurance (for me), tyres (almost 200 each), servicing and replacement parts are expensive. i have learnt thats just the way it is with cars though, you gotta be prepared for the bills unless you can do it yourself.

looks nice though, a kid i know has the 323 and he loves it.

petrols are thirsty buggers so i hear, i would prob trade mine in for an M3 though if i wouldnt get rap*d on insurance.

I've got a long weekend driving this (GF parents lending it to me) .... this weekend. London to Cornwall and around and back .... I'll let you know my thoughts when I get back

I've always been an Audi man ..... (years ago I had a 225bhp TT, and last year I sold mt A3 3.2 V6) ...... now I use the bike so much, we're down to one car, and it'd made sense for it to be our Yaris

I can see Celica and Beemer have appeal ...... but I've driven the 325, and don't overly rate it ..... as thirsty as the 330, not much quicker than the 320 (older 6 cylinders) ..... what BMW really need is the Mini 1.6T in one ... just as much power (when you want it) .... more economy ..
