I can't say what a sensible speed is, more like ride to the conditions, state of the road etc, and not riding at speeds that put you and other road users at greater risk than is sensible. the corvedale road as Ed pointed out has been called the road of death, due to the number of bikers hurt or killed. At the moment the boys in blue are policing it and the roads around quatt and Bridgnorth heavily as they are fed up with scraping people off the road. The ride will not be a slow bimble, neither will it be a race to get to the next stop as quick as possible, so hopefully everyone will enjoy the day. If anybody wants to have a blast somewhere as long as they say so and know the way then they are welcome to do so. I can't control their throttles and have no wish to say what they can and can't do. This is a day for all to enjoy themselves and have loads of banter and take some good pics.. It's also a chance for people to see and ride new roads perhaps, and then if they want to go back for a real blast on their own at their own pace at least they have an idea of the road and the hazards on it.

daryl.

Can i just say, my very first rideout was with Daryl last september and i found it perfectly ok, there was riders of all abilities and some buggered off, LP and chris, the rest just a decent pace.
Nobody got lost or anything, except when we split up on the way back
If i wasnt busy, i would have defo come along again.

That was me who got us lost wasn't it, with Brettus? I followed signs for the A49 as we were splitting with the rest but little did I know the others took a different route and ended up higher up the A49... oops :P

Jeez! Early start for me then. I might not make it due to a big night tonight, I'll text you Daryl if I cannot get out of bed.
