First off I'm not trying to show off here but I am 19, 1 years no claims and I got TPFT from wicked quotes for £231 with a compulsory excess of £350 no voluntary. My bike is garaged and alpha dotted but thats it. They didn't ask about extras either! Maybe give them a ring?

Nope, and I'm also a member of the old farts club.

However, 'just insurance' are worth a look - they are part of carole nash but their policies have all the extras shaved off.

You really have to look in the small print with some of the companies. I loke to be with CN, although more expensive, as it has full UK(which I've used twice) and European breakdown(which I've needed and will do again), I also have personal injury, and when the premium is right I have helmet and leathers too. My excess is 200 quid on all three bikes. Theres probably some other things in there they give me too. I also know CN aren't particularly choosy when it comes to added extras on your bikes, unlike other companies that keep on adding onto the premium the more things you add to your bikes.
Some insurers may offer great quotations but are lacking in their benefits for your premium, but I like to be covered to the hilt, for that just in case moment.

Maybe try MCE?

My first year on the SV with 0 NCB was £490 when I was 20. But this year with just 1 year NCB it has gone down to £240 TPFT. The best thing about MCE though is that the excess is good. Most companies were trying to make me have a £650 excess but with MCE it's only £150

Seriously?! Last year, the main reason I decided to go with them was because of their low excess. I think because they were a new company they were undercutting a lot of companies just to try and gain a reputation for themselves and to create a customer-base. Obviously now they aren't as keen to insure as many people with low excesses. I'm happy with them though.

I'm with Lexham

tpft £650, 23 with 0 no claims and bit of a rough area parked in a yard. Service is cracking with no hidden charges and a 01 number instead of a 0845 or 09 number as it now
