Bandits sound like any other IL4.

Much better with some lumpy cams and the 750 top end

Normally you'll get the clamp, can and link pipe.

If you want, bring it round here. you can use my (well I'll nick my dads) angle grinder.

I think hes settled for a Beowulf Titanium, which flushes blue towards the end, suits the colour of his bike aswell.

Cheers Ste, it certainly would be helpful!

Just have to acquire the exhaust noq.

Are any bolts of the frame, in particular those of the pillion footpeg/exhaust clamp in need of removal? We tried to remove these yesterday in order to remove a fitted rack but are screwed in so darned tight they are just rounding off. It would appear the rack is to stay

Only, if it's a high level. Then you may need to remove the pillion pegs (but that's from SV experience. Not sure about the bandit)

Bring it over with the can, we'll see if anything needs to come off and sort it before we cut anything.

Cheers ste, all being well he will pass his test tomorrow.

One last question, is there any rejetting to be done if you remove the baffle? His bandit is a K6 and is carbs.

YC will know this. But as far as I am aware there will be no rejetting req'd just for a can, it's only the full systems that it applies to.

From the Beowolf site.

FAQ
Will my bike need rejetting or remapping when I fit a Beowulf can?
No, the can will increase the power without any rejetting or remapping.

Take the last line with a pinch of salt though, a can alone won't really add anything.

What they mean is that it will probably run OK without any rejetting, but to get any real gains and to smooth the carburetion out properly, it will need dyno time.

Cheers for that guys.

Can is ordered, just need him to pass tomorrow now; i tried to convince him to get an SV but he was intent on getting a bandit.

It will probably be OK with can on it without rejet.
