A ferry? Where are you coming from mate and which ferry port
I would have to tax the bike to do this as it's sorned at the moment. But to be honest I don't know when I could find the time.we could negotiate on the price to make it worth hour while travelling

Coming from Ireland, Dublin if possible.

If it's not taxed don't worry about it, it'll be wasted money if I buy it!

klu if you can get into heysham port , i think its from hollyhead but not sure, i could pick you up on a weekend and run you to get it

Really appreciate the offer man but I doubt the old bill will appreciate me riding an untaxed unrestricted bike, even if it's only to the nearest ferry

I'm 6'5" and have no problem at Autobahn speeds.
Even had an indicated 140mph (realistically 120mph!) on Bruntingthorpe runway with no problems.

Dont let that put any tall riders off!

Well in all the motorway miles covered (approx 7,500) I never once liked going above 75. It was bloody horrible and felt like my head was going to come off...

This could be down to the type of my helmet etc. Maybe you being taller were hitting clean air instead of air being buffeted off the screen??

Dont let that discourage you though - brilliant bike and I do regret selling it. If i could I would have kept it. Im considering buying one sub-£1000 and using it as a track bike.

Just out of curiosity.... do the straight bars mess with the fairings at all?

Do you happen to have a picture with the straight bars on?

Only cause I'm curious about putting fairings on my naked...
