BTW the Busa isn't as good to ride as the Z, PEgs ridden them back to back and finds, the Busa a bit snatchy, and the power delivery a lot more agressive than the Z, more sporty than touring. Peg has no probs touring on the Z, many many miles of it in fact.
Dont get me wrong it isnt a small bike but its low and very long, it doesnt fit my body, its more of a budha shape than anything else. Im not writing anything off the list untill i test ride everything i can...

Yep it was a 604 e, great bike really liked it but it cost me £12 in fuel and £40 in parts everytime i rode it... id have another in a heart beat.

How big do you need - I've just got back after a very comfortable 3500 mile trip through Europe on my 650 twin Kawasaki Versys. When people say they "have to have" a huge bike for touring, I laugh at them. Maybe if you're over 15 stone, but not for normal people

then my friend I am not normal..

I am 6ft and 115kg, I am built like the preverbial outhouse,

I am not saying non of those bikes could tour, Im saying none of them fitted me and felt "right"....

I went 1800 miles through france on the SV but I couldn't walk at the end...
