That's a very nice bit of workmanship John, but I'd expect no less. CNC or manual? If CNC, I hope you saved the program!

You could sell SV yokes and offer some sort of customer service as well. Definitely a gap in the market there

Go for it, you'll have so much fun, dont forget to factor in the following in your prices:
rent, business rates, water rates, electricity, heating, machine servicing, tooling, materials, scrap disposal in an enviromentally friendly way PAYE VAT (soon to be 20%) labour costs employee problems/illness's (i.e getting drunk and not turning up as they feel ill the next day etc etc) Its a right laugh, dont forget the discount for all the forum members, though! Ha ha! Or just do it as a foreigner and let your boss worry about all the money your costing him (£50/hour machine running cost) dont moan when his business go's bump and he has to let everyone go! ![]() Last edited by Matts-Yokes; 25-11-10 at 02:31 PM. |

If the fork leg pinch bolt runs through the yoke at that point it will conflict with the locating pin/bolt that holds the clipon from spinning on the fork leg? The yoke looks about 20mm thick but the ignition barrel part has one of the ignition bolt holes protruding through the upper side of the yoke, does that mean you are going to have a bolt end stuck up out of the top of the yoke? |
