I got Akra pipes on ebay for ~£60 on ebay. (from Paiste on here I think) keeping my eye out for a bargain akra can and should have a full system for under £200 hopefully.

Yea, thats me

The Akra headers are pretty much like stock system.
Leo tapered is actually the best you can get.

The Akra isnt like stock, its much lighter, less convoluted, has a larger diameter and as metal cones that fit into the exhaust ports of the engine block, well mine does anyway.

I think Zoran did comparison with akra, yosh and micron... micron came out best of those.
Comparing leo, micron and M4, leo wins it over M4 by a hair, micron well behind in the midrange.

I would only bother with leo or M4.

P.S the above info is subject to my memory. A few searches around the 'web will probably find more accurate detail.

Did Zoran's comparision include the weight savings or was its specifically about Power / Torque?

Dyno runs, not sure if weight was tested.
Leo is pretty light, M4 actually quite heavy.

See, me being a tart, go for Akra, as the quality of it all is really very nice!!

I don't have experience of the LeoVince or the others, so I can't comment.

Plus the Akra system is very light.
