Always remove hard drive when giving it in for repair - do you want the tech guys looking at all your pics music files etc. Just cos you put a password on doesn't mean they can't access it.

It cant handle the legend at its keyboard. Poor laptop.

But as all the others have said, repir will be the norm, unless they are really nice to you and realise who you are, then you may get a replacement...doubt it though.

P.s. Nice to see the legend back in the org.

PC World are totally within there rights to suggest a repair if its economically viable to do. I read about a similar experience in Which magazine recently.

well its off to the menders

and before i sent it away i checked the bottom of the pages i'd viewed and it says all of them were over 18 so should be ok

2 flippin weeks i gotta wait tho! gonna be like the boy who took his finger out of the dyke when it is returned. so to speak....
