I added a gel pad from ebay. There's an article at http://www.hforcier.com/sre/gelseat.htm showing a DIY insert, although the one I got didn't need cutting down.
There's also a thread at http://www.sv-portal.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38958 on DIY seat mods with a downloadable guide with good pictures. So long as you have a staple gun it's quite easy - I reshaped mine first but it was still uncomfy, so I stripped it again and added the pad. |

Have had Hagon progressives in mine for years now & as everybody else has said they make a big difference over the sponges that are standard. They stiffen the front up no end.

HI, right i just took mine out for the first time since fitting hagon springs(from wemoto may i add) and 15w fork oil, along with a zx636r rear shock. massive improvement over the 12 year old stock set up, dips in the road that i used to hold on for dear life, are gone. fully reccomend unless u can afford a complete front end swap, im planning on that next year.

I've just bought these from wemoto, went for these over linear because theyre slightly cheaper and I'm not really a fast rider/no track days. Just looking to improve on the dangerously crud standard ones.
I'm taking it to a garage for them to install them, is it worth replacing the oil/dust seals whilst they're apart or only if they're leaking/damaged? Anyone know what I should be expecting to pay for this job? |

No only if they are leaking. You don't need to remove seals to do this job.

Yeah I would have done too if the first set of discs I bought weren't like poppadoms!
