Bought the 'blade in June 2009, it's now 9 years old with 39,500 miles and I've managed to convince myself that selling it now would be silly - I'd get nothing like it's real value, because of the miles, and it's too awesome to get rid of (well, it will be once I finally sort the suspension out!)

Off roaders previously kept as toys until they either died or I got bored.
CG, had it 6 months for knocking on 10k miles, did really well for cheap transport until I got proper licence. SV: Bought it in april 07 something like that with 13k on it, it's now got 75k or so on it. Will keep it until it dies as it's worth nowt. GPZ kept for 6 months or so, had it to fill a gap while I was rebuilding the SV, couple of thousand miles.

Bought new 2 years and 7 days ago. It had clocked just over 14,500 miles by last weekend. Not bad considering I hardly use it when there's salt on the roads, and was ill and couldn't ride much for 6 months.
I don't usually keep bikes for more than a year because I get bored with them, but the Versys is set to stay for another year at least - I just haven't got the urge to change and simply can't find anything to match it for what I need from a bike. |

Done about 5k on mine I think in 7 months? That should rise rapidly in the coming months!

![]() Bought my 600rr new and kept it 28 months (08 to 10) and put 12k on it. Bought my hypermotard in October when it was 1 month old, and still got it obviously and as it's been winter I've done about 600 miles so far.
