Yes it auto answers, that is sorted by the dongle you have to turn off auto answer on any phone you pair with it. It gives clear conversation up to 80, I've never been called when going faster than that, the music is muted when you get a call, but the sat nav jabbers on.

Or you could get imoto for the iphone.

Think I'm going to have to invest in the bluetooh adaptor and maybe a TomTom Rider so I can choose who I answer to and see who im talking to, lol.

I know a little about the subject as I've just gone through the process of getting my iPhone kitted out and working with my bike. Decided to get an autocom in late December, mainly for music at first but to expand to bike to bike radios when Mrs brettus gets mobile on her burgman. Figured I'd hook up the iPhone with the lead as i didn't need Bluetooth... A few frustrating trips back to my bike to get my damn phone later and I'd ordered the new revised bluetooth adapter. The newer one forces the iPhone to auto answer after 3rings, iPhone doesn't have an auto answer function of it's own you see.

The other flaw in my "make do with the cable" plan is you have no control of the phone to answer it or anything.

So since getting the bluetooth doohicky (think i paid £70 which i didn't think was too bad but it was purchased while ****ed off at walking back to my bike from work twice as I'd not got my keys the first time heh.) all has been well, paired easily, iPhone works well for audio or receiving calls. Haven't seen a good way of voice dialling yet but mostly i need it for receiving calls, at a push i could mash my pocket to press the home button for long enough.

Tom-tom or some bike mounted sat nav to use as a phone display would be ideal but have no need as yet, i run tom-tom on the iPhone and get voice directions over my music which is more than sufficient so far.

I've got a 12v socket to wired in with a USB extension to sit between the tank and the seat where the auto com lead is so I can charge my iPhone as i ride if needs be.
just the socket sat there then not a white lead or anything, keeps it neater i thought. Also serves as a breakaway point of sorts should i forget it before i hop off heh.

IIRC the newer BT module works fine with pretty much any autocom, just uses different plugs.
