You may also want to consider balancing the carbs and check the choke plungers are not sticking. The fact that it idles faster when warm sort of indicates fueling is not as it should be.

Are you using the choke at all when stating the revs it is idling at?

Those had all been checked when I got her about 500 miles ago and I've been keeping an eye on everything too. She runs smoothly with no strange sounds lack of anything, too much of anything. I want to change the spark plugs in about 500/1000 more miles which'll be in a month or so I should think. Just previous Owner obviously never checked the idler or when they were trying to in the Car showroom get it going the mechanic had a twiddle trying to get it to turn over rather than like we did which was burn all the old fuel out of the engine (it'd been sat around)

I used the it needed to be warm to as an excuse to ride around for an hour and pulled in home and she was Idling at the 2000 as she has the entire time I had her and changed her down and she even idled at around the 1000 mark though I sat her at the 1450/1500 as she sounded most comfortable and its easy enough to change.

It may very well be the same one. The showroom guys had no idea if it was the same one, Yellow SV650S they couldn't get it to start. It cost us nothing for me and my uncle to get it going to get it running.
