Rightt, cheers husky. You seem to be helping me out a hell of a lot lately

I'll wait until after the weekend to take the cover off and check it. Will order an o-ring anyway but hopefully I won't need to buy a cover as well.

Aye mate, more of an annoyance than anything as it doesn't seem to affect the oil level much. Over 2 weeks it doesn't seem to have dropped hardly anyway. I just want to get mine sealed so I'm not constantly paranoid about it getting worse and checking it all the time.

Had the same problem with mine, took the cover off cleaned up the mating surfaces well and put it all back together used thread lock on the screws and tourqued to spec. (suprisingly low) no leaks now for 3 weeks.

Good to hear. What torque should the bolts be? About 15nm?

15 is too much. I think book says 10, but lower is better. Only enough they don't fall out, don't go mental.

The book says 10 and they'll fall out if you don't use threadlock, mine is Red and Curvy too, worked a treat, not sure if it'll work on the yellow and blue ones

You can download a copy of the manual fro the FAQ's section of the main site.

Well I've just taken the plunge and bought a billet alluminum Woodcraft cover:

I could have probably got away with using a new o-ring and a bit of universal blue but I thought what the hell I'll treat myself. Many will probably think it's a waste of money but from what I've read most of the plastic covers warp over time anyway.

When the aluminium cover arrives should I torque the bolts up to the same 10nm as the plastic one?
