Headlight Problem

I bridged it from the handlebar switch to the light bulb and it worked, pointing to a problem in the line from switch to bulb.

Yeah im thinking it could be this myself, but i realised last night that i still have warranty on the bike for another 2 months so im gonna take her back ( FFS ) and get them to sort it. Im not too fond of removing plastics as i can never get them back straight without rattling lol. But ill ask them what was wrong and how they fixed it * if they can * and post the results here.

Latest Update.

The dealer thinks it could be the right hand switchgear that "could" be playing up the headlights as the Hazard switch will only illuminate the right side indicators?? not sure if this would have anything todo with it but im sure that he will have it fixed soon.

Got it sorted today, looks like it was the green connector that links the switchgear to the loom, looks like it was badly corroded, the dealer has now hard wired this to stop it happening again. thanks everybody for your help and input
