Ambulance Service Crash Card

Have to say, in this area I know most Cops and Fire Services have been trained in the removal of helmets but don't unless we have to - ie...someone's not breathing.

I have tags because I dont always carry my wallet with me if I'm just going local.

What prompted me to get tags was a thread on bcf in which a phone did not survive the crash. Unfortunately neither did the rider, and this was very thought provoking.

My bike key has a keyring with my blood type on.....

To be honest, I haven't thought enough about this, but I should do. I think I have some dog tags somewhere, so might get them stamped with D.O.B. name and blood type

Card in the helmet?! as rictus says wouldn't want people removing the lid to get the card without giving it some serious thought first! particularly if they're untrained.
The dot on lid system I'd been told about (on last years AR by some paras) was so they knew to look in your wallet for a card.
They'd have to scrape all the blood and brains off to read it if it was kept in your lid anyway...

Need to get myself a card really, on my commute to work i have no wallet and no ID, my phone has a pin-lock on it so often wondered what would happen but not done anything about it as of yet!
