couple of choices of bike here with a bit of haggling would be in the right price bracket.
could be worth a visit just to sit on a few to see whats wanted.

Well done, riding on your lonesome or with others? I forgot you've done the knee slider thing now, just waiting for the full body slider, don't get over cocky.....

I've been chaperoning my dad lately, he's on his third biking era and has a new F800ST, seen him go sideways on some corners (he thinks he's your age!) where I stay firmly planted...gotta love the SMT.

It would be nice to have someone faster paced to try and match, I tend to slow it down a bit when alone, for the most part - worst thing to do is turn a ride out into a competition though

We're due another ride out really, trouble is I've used up too many get out of jail cards already...

Good luck with finding her a decent bike, £1500 is screaming out for one of the latter naked curvies really isn't it!

On my lonesome other than about 200 miles.
I know my limits and I'll not push too far, but can never say never!
I personally find that when I'm alone is when I go fastest. If I have someone slower following me I'm always really cautious that they'll do the stupid thing and try and follow me and go too fast. That thought alone scares the hell out of me so I tone it down. I once made that mistake on a very sharp corner and nearly had a meeting with a 4x4. I soon learnt to watch the road rather than the rider! That's the closest I've come to an accident and it gave me a good shock early on when I needed it.
Let me know when you can get out for a ride and we can meet up somewhere.

Yeah a naked curvy would be brilliant, just need to find a nice one that's local really fingers crossed

IVe been called a bike many-a-time, usually by speedplay, and I could do with £1500.

Do you think she'd be up for it??

I'd be happy to look at any bikes out my way to save you a wasted journey.

Just looked on ebay...this is the nearest GS500 to me... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-SUZUKI-GS...item43a6fcda7f

looks familiar

Thanks sir. Very kind of you.
I'll send over the link for that blue one to her. Apparently she didn't really like the stripes on the first one!

KJ - No idea, but can always ask for you
